Cost: £375 including £175 non-returnable deposit

The On-site Shiatsu Massage Training will give you a qualification over a relatively short period of time and the syllabus will give you tools to truly help and work with other people at the workplace. We can help with or prevent typical problems like back pain, stress, headaches, RSI, difficulty concentrating, and more.

The difference to On-site Massage lies in the usage of working with the Acupuncture Meridians and Points and thus connecting with a deeper energy. The On-site Shiatsu Massage Training will bring a balance between working within a form and working with a better sense of Energy of the Human Body.

Dynamic Yoga, Bandha and Spirals
Saturday 5 September 8am–1pm

Martin Jülich MRSS(T) Dip CHM
Cost: £30
Venue: Love Yoga, 42 Union Terrace, Aberdeen

Dynamic Yoga works with the integration of Yoga Postures (asana) into movement through all the body parts so they feel like a whole again. Aiding in this exploration are the Bandha, which are natural functions within the body, through which we learn how to contain our energy, as well as lengthen internally with more ease. Supporting the Bandha are the Spirals of the feet and legs and the arms, which support the movement out of and into the core of the bodymind.

The ways of working with Dynamic Yoga can be helpful with all other forms of Yoga.

Written on the Body
Saturday 20 February 10am–5pm

Margot Henderson
Cost: £40
Venue: to be confirmed

So, in this workshop we will gently open the book of the body and give our attention to what might be written there. Through a combination of mindfulness, meditation, movement, creative writing, drawing and bodywork, we will explore and express the language of the body. As we read between the body’s lines we will give attention to the 5 elements and the various body systems.

As we grow older we begin to know only too well that the body remembers and has its own stories to tell.

Margot Henderson is a poet and storyteller. In her work as a Community Artist she inspires groups, individuals and organisations in their creative projects and processes. She is a qualified Integrative Arts Therapist with a background in Ritual Theatre and Ceremonial Tradition.
