Lesley came into Shiatsu via Aikido, a form of martial arts that has a great
emphasis on Ki. Study of Shiatsu initially started in England, but on moving back to the North she joined the Shiatsu Training in Aberdeen, achieving Practitioner Status in 1998.
Lesley has been involved with assisting the College since then and one of her firm beliefs is that learning should be fun. She loves helping and supporting people in their learning and she herself gets so much out of seeing people discover Ki, yet she feels strongly about demystifying the whole concept of energy. As Lesley loves looking into energy work she has continued to examine it in other forms observing responses and always learning and experiencing herself i.e aura work, reflexology, various forms of massage and reiki.
