The On-site Shiatsu Massage Training will give you a qualification over a relatively short period of time and the syllabus will give you tools to truly help and work with other people at the workplace.
The tools of On-site Shiatsu Massage are not only the physical touch but also the underlying therapeutic understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which are also the bedrock of Shiatsu.
With this form of seated bodywork we can help with or prevent typical problems at the workplace like: back pain, stress, headaches, RSI, difficulty concentrating, and more.
The difference to On-site Massage lies in the usage of working with the Acupuncture Meridians and Points and thus connecting with a deeper energy.
The On-site Shiatsu Massage Training will bring a balance between working within a form and working with a better sense of Energy of the Human Body, so each treatment can be tailored to the individual.
We teach On-site Shiatsu Massage on a Massage chair and an ordinary chair to increase your flexibility and adaptability.
This Training is open to anyone who has completed training in another therapy. If you are already a massage or Shiatsu therapist it will focus your skills and give your treatments more versatility and depth.
During the course you will be expected to practice on as many people as you can. All students successfully completing all homework and passing the final practical and written exam will receive a certificate. You will be expected to do have documented at least 30 full treatments.
The course will run over 3 weekends with the exam on the last day.
The course venue will be in central Aberdeen.
Times are 10am – 5pm each day, with an hour for lunch.
You will receive a complete course booklet of all the hand-outs on the first day of the Course.
